This year Modlin has been my favourite place. Nothing cheers me up better than a sight of a helicopter taxiing onto the apron.
You can feel the first adrenaline rush already during the obligatory ritual of checking weather maps and the machine's technical condition. Once it’s done all you need to do is remove the doors, refuel, wait for Sebastian to take place in the seat next to me and we’re ready to begin our traditional training session. We strive to prepare as best we can for each competition. What’s crucial is not only the pilot's precision and the navigator’s accuracy, but also the ability of a fast and logical communication.
We've already had a couple of trainings in Modlin this quarter and each time we feel the need to push ourselves harder. This will surely pay off in the next competition. The World Cup is approaching. We will be ready!
